ASSESSMENTS
At our school, we prioritize the academic growth and progress of our students. To achieve this, we utilize a comprehensive range of assessments designed to gather valuable insights into their individual learning needs and abilities.
Our assessment approach includes
IXL Real-Time Diagnostic Assessments:
IXL’s real-time diagnostic assessments enable us to pinpoint each student’s current skill levels and identify areas for improvement. This adaptive assessment platform adapts to students’ responses, providing targeted practice to address specific learning gaps.
CEM Assessments:
We implement CEM assessments, developed by the University of Cambridge, to assess students’ performance based on the British curriculum. These assessments offer a comprehensive evaluation of their academic achievements and provide valuable data to inform our teaching strategies.
Y1/2 INCAS/Y2 PT SERIES:
Our school employs INCAS and PT SERIES assessments for Reception, and Year 1 to Year 2 students. These assessments gauge their progress in various subject areas, allowing us to tailor instructional plans to meet their unique needs.
Primary Teacher Designed Assessments / SATs: Our skilled primary teachers design formative and summative assessments aligned with the curriculum. Additionally, we conduct SATs (Standardized Assessment Tests) to evaluate student proficiency in core subjects.
CAT 4 Assessments:
Cognitive Abilities Test (CAT 4) assessments help us understand students’ cognitive abilities, including verbal, non-verbal, quantitative, and spatial reasoning. These insights assist us in providing personalized support to optimize their learning experiences.
By utilizing this diverse range of assessments, we ensure that our students receive individualized attention and support throughout their academic journey. Our commitment to data-driven instruction empowers us to foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment, enabling each child to achieve their full potential.
